International famous companies are almost located in East Asia.
Electronics brands in Asia
Acer laptop, Sony play station, Haier fridge, Samsung galaxy,
Asus, Acer, TSMC, Honhai … Taiwan
Sony, Orion, Hitachi, Panasonic… Japan
Huawei, Lenovo, Haier… China
Samsung, LG… South Korea
Car manufacturers by country
Toyota corolla, Tata nano, Hyundai tucson
Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Matsuda, Nissan, Hino…Japan
Tata Motor… India
Hyundai… S.Korea
Shanghai, Di-yi….China
These companies are famous in the world such like GE or Vodafone.
but there are local huge companies in each countries.
Especially big ones are in China, Japan and India.
For example, Chinese Construction Bank, Chinese Petroleum, Japan Railway, Chiyoda Chemical Gas Construction Company in Japan,
and Indian huge-sized 5 conglomerates, like that.
How about South East Asian? They have also some big local companies.
Surprisingly those are made by old Chinese immigrant from South China.
And Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, these countries are aided and capitalized by Chinese gov. and companies.
(Exempt for Thai, They have stronger relationship to Japan rather than China)
If you saw some company rankings of a south eastern Asian contry on Forbes or some magazine,
6 or 7 companies of the top 10 are holded by Chinese family.
(I was very surprised by knowing it this year..!)
Not only Sales-big companies, also Service industry.
In Japan, Ive felt those changes walking at streets.
I can eat Wendy’s, Carls Jr.,Gorilla Coffee, TGI fridays, or Cafe de Magot, or El torito and so on in Tokyo. Many of them came from caucasian countries.
But since about last year,
Taiwanese style Ice cream company and Tea cafe from Taiwan, Ice cream cafe from South Korean(ice cream again..)
Fish restaurant from Singapore, Mutton restaurant from China,
Thai, Indian, and Nepal restaurants are already many but they managed by industrials.
I suppose many food chains come to Japan from Asia, which is new change.
Oh, and my district example, here has only 4 Japanese restaurants(Sushi, diner, nudle, bar)
and Nepal curry restaurants are same number somehow.
that’s really good, I love traditional curry indeed. and each of them is good taste and cheap.
The problem is that almost same menu and same taste in 4 restaurants,,whyyy
