Hard rock café, TGI Fridays, Sizzler and Taco bell are rare in Asia.
On the other hand, almost every country has local energetic chain.
Jollibee
Philippines have Jollibee.
You see Jollibee mascot in everywhere in Philippines, and some area in South East Asia.
It is hamburger chain only beating McDonald chain in the world I think.
They take not only hamburger but spaghetti and rice meals.
When I ordered set menu in Jollibee, there are two big alumi-foil balls on the plate.
I thougt donuts or something, but that’s are plain rice balls in the foils. just surprising experience.lol
In Japan my country case,
MOS BURGER and Doutor Coffee
MOS burger and Doutor Coffee are kind of good rivals of McDonald and Starbucks.
MOS burger takes organic foods and big. I think you like it. Prices are little more expensive than McDonalds.
And Dotoul are especially liked by middle age people. They have larger smoke space than Starbucks.

In Vietnam, please go local coffee shop!
This country has great coffee culture.
TRUNG NGUYEN coffee and High Lands coffee are popular chain.
Both chains have Vietnam style coffee.
If you like espresso, or Italian roast coffee, I suppose you definitely like it :D!
